How to Change Photo in Emirates ID

• Visit an ICP Customer Happiness Centre.
• Bring Required Documents:
  • Original Emirates ID.
  • Original passport.
  • New passport-sized photo.
• Fill out the Emirates ID information.
• Provide the completed form along with documents and new photo to the counter staff.
• Pay the Fee: The fee for updating Emirates ID is AED 150.
• Confirm or update biometrics (photo, fingerprints)
• Receive an SMS notification when updated Emirates ID is ready for collection or delivery.

Emirates ID Photo Requirements

The photograph submitted for the Emirates ID must meet the specified requirements to be accepted, It is as follows:

• Size: 35 mm x 45 mm.
• Background: White.
• Quality: High-resolution (at least 600 dpi), recent (within 6 months), and free of any marks.
• Expression: Neutral facial expression with mouth closed.
• Eyes: Open and looking directly at the camera; colored contact lenses are not permitted.
• Eyewear: Glasses are allowed if they do not reflect light or obscure the eyes; sunglasses are prohibited.
